Three English Schoolboys
Three English schoolboys demonstrating three very definite characteristics – the leader, the follower and the shy. It reminds me so much of my childhood, those dreaded school uniforms with the short trousers and long socks exposing those constantly scratched and muddied, knobbly knees, hanging around the playground gate seeing what mischief I could get up to. As I go through my archive of images, I find myself wondering what happened to these people I have captured, some as long ago as 50 years. These three boys, what lives are they leading now? Did the leader become a leader, is the follower still following in his adulthood and the shy one, did he ever overcome his shyness? What history have they woven?
