The Reverend Puffrock

This photograph of the reverend Puffrock was first exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in London as part of the John Kobal Foundation Portrait Awards in 1995.

Made on a Sunday morning in downtown Denver, the good reverend decided to smoke a cigarette whilst waiting to be collected to go to church.  As a safety precaution he pushed his oxygen tank as far away as the lead would allow!!!

Here is truly ‘a man of faith’.
